Location was great, easy to get to the metro and in easy reach of electric town. Nice cosey room, just what you need for a short stay.
I liked everything, the most important was that it was closer to the Akihabara JR train station and the biggest technology place in Japan.
After booked for a night on December 28 I tried to stay for other 3 nights, but surprising the price increase too much maybe it was because was in 3 day before 01 of January 2013. For that reason I have to leave the hotel in the day after.
I liked that it was so close to the Akihabara train station so we could easier visit all parts of Tokyo.
The room for 2 people was smaller than a cruise ship cabin. Very tight with no room to move. There was a double bed crammed in against the wall so I had to climb over my husband to access the bathroom at night and when I woke up. We were there for 6 days with 2 suitcases and there were no drawers. The closet had enough room to hang 4-6 articles of clothing. This hotel is really only suitable for overnight business trips or those traveling really light. My son had his own room and felt it was fine for one person.
i stayed at APA Hotel Akihabara Ekimae in New year season. It's was very comfortable to shopping at Yodobashi so that the reason why I love the location. Very good location and good price.
the room a bit small but very comfortable and suitable.
The air conditioning works only in heating mode (at least during winter). The only (and advised by the hotel staff) way to decrease temperature in the room is to open the window or the door for a while.
Very close to the station. English electronic check-in, and credit card payment. Late check-in fine. Check-out 11am. Clean and well-designed compact room. Comfortable bed. Great view from the 12th floor.
Staff is very nice and have a great service mind. Excellent location, just walk out from akihabara station then u will see the hotel.
good service, great location to nearest station
Room was very clean, and cheap for such a central location near to Akihabara. The attached restaurant served a good breakfast. Staff were helpful and check-in/check-out were a breeze with the automated touchscreen computer, which had multiple language settings. Very close to transit lines. Large TV and fast internet.
The single room was rather small, if that bothers you. While staff were gracious and helpful, they did not speak all that much english. Was a little hard to find coming from the JR station.
great comfy bed. nice design within building and rooms
spent a little while trying to find it, up and down various roads. Although being only 50m or so from the main road, its tucked in down an alley with on APA being visable written on the building. Perhaps a sign on the end of the street point in the direction of the hotel
Good location, right across the street from Akiba station
Housekeeping staff failed to change the bed sheets on two successive days. On the third day they were changed only after our request to reception staff. Room rates, while reasonable, were higher than other comparable APA Hotels for no better facilities (this hotel is quite new, having only opened within the month of our stay).
Near yOdobashi camera is so near
I juSt lose my tooth brush the one I bough from out side
Hotel staff should be more knowledgeable about general tourist information in Tokyo (trains, tickets, etc)
Unfriendly staff, so different to usual Japenese welcoming way.
Location is fantastic!
Room is tiny but this is Tokyo so can't complain.
